What to Expect During Your Treatment
Consultation & Skin Assessment
During your initial consultation, we will review your diagnosis and discuss a personalized plan based on your type of skin cancer and its location.
Patient Positioning
During the treatment, you will sit or lie comfortably. The handheld applicator, which has a halo ring for precise placement, will be aligned over the treatment area.
Radiation Delivery
The applicator will deliver low-energy X-rays directly to the cancer cells using either superficial radiation therapy (SRT) or electronic brachytherapy (eBt). Each session only takes a few minutes.
Post-Treatment Care
With Radiant Aura, you are free to resume your normal activities immediately after the procedure. You may experience mild redness or peeling in the days following treatment. Any side effects are typically minimal and localized.
