Chemical Peels

Chemical peels use safe, targeted solutions to gently exfoliate the outer skin layer, helping improve tone, texture, and clarity.

What are Chemical Peels?

A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure where medical-grade acid blends are applied to the skin to remove dead cells, promote cellular turnover, and reveal fresher, smoother skin. Depending on strength and formulation, peels can address uneven texture, pigmentation, fine lines, and acne. Your esthetician will select the peel best suited to your skin type and goals, adjusting strength, timing, and post-care accordingly. At Becker Cosmetic, we offer two advanced peel options:

What to Expect During Your Treatment

Each chemical peel treatment begins with a skin assessment and pre-cleanse. Most sessions last about 30 minutes. Skin may feel tight, slightly flaky, or reddish for a few days as the peel effect works. Full results manifest over the subsequent week(s) as fresh skin emerges. During the treatment:

1.

Your esthetician will apply the peel solution evenly across the skin.

2.

Depending on the peel, your provider will instruct you to leave the peel on for at least six hours or up to overnight, or the peel will be wiped off during your appointment.

3.

The chemical solution will lightly exfoliate or resurface your skin, causing controlled shedding of the top layer.

4.

You will be guided through a post-peel routine (sunscreen, gentle moisturizers, and specific care instructions).
